Placement procedure for courses in German as a foreign language

1. Self-assessment form

Please fill out the self-assessment form first to assess your current level of German.

2. Placement test

Please choose the placement test that corresponds to your previous knowledge.

3. Consultation

If you have found the right course with the help of the overview of the German course program (below), send us your placement results to info-sprachenzentrum@unibas.ch and register online for the chosen course. In this case, no consultation is necessary.

If you are unsure about your course choice, or please send your placement results (score incl. detailed evaluation) to info-sprachenzentrum@clutterunibas.ch to arrange a consultation.
