In order to ensure that the texts submitted in the courses of the Language Center comply with the rules of ensuring scientific integrity, participants are asked to attach a corresponding declaration to their texts.

The declaration of scientific integrity at the University of Basel can be found here. If it can be shown that a student improperly used AI on a test or on graded coursework, then they will receive a failing grade on that test or assignment. In the event of repeated misconduct, the student will not be able to acquire credit points in that language course.
