Writing the Introduction section of a research article – a brief guide

Research article authors need to write Introduction sections that spark interest, explicate the need for their study and set out their goals.
This workshop offers you guidance on the content, structure and language conventions of article Introductions. If you already have an own draft Introduction with you, you will have opportunity to improve it during the workshop. Bring along your own laptop so you can write during the meeting and be ready to access some online publications in your field as models for your own text.
