Location: Language Center, Totentanz 17 or hybrid via Teams (Besprechungs-ID: 339 550 638 477 65 | Passcode: dj2Q634r)

Topic: Discussion of tales-Kurs “Upgrade your academic writing with digital skills”

At the next semester meeting, the organisers of the lecture series “Academic Writing with Digital Tools” will present the building blocks of the planned tales course “Upgrade your academic writing with digital skills.”

Together, we would like to discuss how we can use this digital open access offering in teaching to promote academic writing and strengthen academic integrity in the age of AI.

The course addresses students of all disciplines—especially at the bachelor's and master's level—and will teach the competent, critical, and responsible use of digital and AI-supported tools in the writing process. The focus will be on “Mind over machine; thinking leads the tools.”

Refreshments: You are welcome to bring something to eat; coffee/tea and water will be provided by the Language Center.

We look forward to your registration by Monday, 26 January 2026: writing@unibas.ch
