All members of the University of Basel who are interested in the funding of academic and scientific writing skills are invited to the next semester meeting of the Writing Network.

The informal network offers the opportunity to get in touch with each other and to share knowledge and experiences. Once a semester, current research projects and practical examples of writing didactics and writing promotion are presented and discussed.

Subjects:

1. Brief experience reports from those present on dealing with writing at the university, taking artificial intelligence into account.
2. Discussion of a proposal for a series of events (HS 2024) at the interface of digital literacies and writing promotion by the members of the Netzwerk Schreiben. The draft of this series of events, which is intended to combine theory and practical courses, is provisionally entitled "More than just ChatGPT - Writing with digital tools". The draft program will be sent out at the end of September as a basis for our discussion.
